AI agents for service firms and founder-led businesses.

Your own AI agent, live in 30 days.

Built on your rules for one job, like invoices, quotes, or client intake.

It has its own inbox and logins, your team approves everything it prepares, and you own all of it. Not running by day 30? Full refund.

You own the accounts and the data. Runs in the cloud or on a private Mac in your office.

Who it fits

Different businesses. The same gaps between systems.

A growing team, a founder-dependent process, or a new acquisition. Start where recurring work waits on a person.

B2B service firms

AI workflow design for B2B service firms: document collection, onboarding, handoffs, and reporting, with human review.

Founder-led businesses

AI workflow design for founder-led businesses: quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and documented operating rules with approval gates.

Customer and revenue teams

AI workflows for customer success and revenue teams: account preparation, renewal coordination, CRM upkeep, and reviewed actions.

Acquisition operators and holdcos

AI workflow design for acquisition operators and holdcos: seller knowledge capture, operating handoffs, and reviewed reporting.

Who builds it

Jonathan Saunders. See what I've built: a back office for an advisory firm, billing that runs itself, and 15 AI agents with measured safeguards. You work with me directly, from the first call to the last agent.

The recurring work

The tools work. The handoffs don't.

Every unusual quote comes back to the founder.

Accounts payable is a shared inbox and a spreadsheet.

The weekly report eats every Friday afternoon.

Client onboarding stalls between the CRM and delivery team.

A sample agent team

Five roles. Every action has a gate.

These are candidate roles, not a required five-agent package. I scope access to the task, log actions, and keep consequential decisions with a person. How an agent works.

AP clerk

Reads vendor invoices, matches them to POs, and queues payments.

Never pays. You approve every batch.

Collections

Tracks aging, drafts reminders, and logs every promise to pay.

Never sends a final notice without you.

Quoting

Prepares quotes from documented pricing rules and customer records.

Final quotes and exceptions wait for review.

Inbox triage

Sorts the shared inbox, routes requests, and drafts replies.

Customer replies go out only after approval.

Ops reporter

Pulls the numbers and writes the Monday operating summary.

Read only. Changes nothing in your systems.

The math

Put a value on the time.

Estimate capacity recovered after review and exception handling. Time released is not automatically cash saved. Use your own assumptions, then measure them on one workflow.

Scan. Pilot. Install. Operate.

Built and running

01

Silver Oak: a new advisory firm's back office, built for a team of one, with an AI agent checking the work every day.

02

SafeArbor: billing and monitoring that runs itself. Every exception waits for a person.

03

The Life Before Me: 15 AI agents, with a safeguard that cut made-up details from 51% to zero.

04

Before Concentric Lab: grew one Fortune 500 account from under $1M to $30M in annual recurring revenue.

“Before Concentric Lab, Silver Oak's operations lived in my head and a scattered set of tools; now we run on a configured CRM, compliant recordkeeping, and documented onboarding and billing workflows, so a two-person RIA can operate with the structure and audit-readiness of a much larger firm.”

Not a fit if
  • You want a chatbot on your website.

  • No one can own the workflow for two hours a week.
  • You want agents sending payments without a human approval.
Questions

What buyers ask first.

Why not connect the tools ourselves?
You can. The work is defining the rules, restricting access, testing exceptions, and maintaining the workflow when a vendor changes. I handle that operating layer, not just the connection.
Who owns the agents and accounts?
You do. Inboxes, app connections, and model accounts are registered in your company's name. Run costs bill to you, not to me.
What if an agent gets something wrong?
Agents prepare. People approve. Payments, customer emails, and record changes wait for a named approver, and every action is logged.
Do we need to have acquired a business?
No. The offer fits recurring work in service firms, founder-led businesses, customer and revenue teams, and acquired companies. Accessible records and a named process owner matter more than ownership history.

About

Each engagement makes the next one smarter.

Each build improves the runbooks, evaluation sets, and controls I use on the next one.

You work directly with me and the systems I built.

Operating Method

01

Find the real constraint.

Most problems arrive pre-diagnosed. I map what is actually blocking progress and scope to the narrowest piece of work that moves a measurable number.

02

Build the asset.

Everything ships as a self-contained system with its own data model and revenue path. Software that depends on its creators is a service contract. Handover is a protocol, not a meeting: an operating runbook, pair-building with the team that inherits the system, and a final cycle they run without me.

03

Keep it running.

Systems that prove themselves get a runbook, monitoring, and a named owner. The delivery practice improves without carrying client data, code, or business rules into the next engagement.
